A tragic car crash on Sunday resulted in at least one fatality and multiple injuries, including children, on the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway near University Park in Los Angeles.
The collision involved a pickup truck and a Tesla, both sustaining extensive damage, near Hoover Street.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, where they found a 3-month-old baby boy, a 6-year-old boy, a 7-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a 29-year-old woman injured.
The severity of their injuries ranged from serious to critical, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Additionally, another adult man sustained injuries but did not require hospitalization.
As of now, details about the cause of the crash remain unclear, and it’s uncertain when the authorities will clear the scene, causing significant traffic disruptions on the 10 Freeway.
