According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Abilene on Sunday.
The officials stated that Ashley Nichole Rapp McClure and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision.
According to the Police, Ashley suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was identified as 45-year-old Robert Floyd. The couple had fought before the collision occurred.
The 45-year-old man was also identified as her husband.
The Abilene Police are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided.
