According to officials, 35-year-old Andrew Lipscomb of Kellogg Idaho was driving a dump truck hauling a utility trailer. Meanwhile, Lipscomb lost balance while taking a curve on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.
Then, the truck hit 39-year-old Matthew Martin, of Copperopolis, who was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Afterwards, it struck 52-year-old Kimbra Carlson of Fallon who was driving another pickup.
Resultantly, the dump truck drifted off the road, fell into an embankment, and ended up overturning.
Authorities confirmed that rainy weather caused the incident but speed did not play as a factor. However, slippery road at the time of the crash caused the driver lost control.
Later, authorities blocked the roads of the affected area.
