On Wednesday morning, roads were closed after a big rig rolled over on South Side.
According to the reports, the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near Loop 410 on the South Side were blocked following the accident. Officials added that the southbound lanes of the highway were shut down near Cassin Lane and New Laredo Highway.
Officers asked the motorists to avoid the area and expect long delays. At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The southbound lanes of Interstate 35 close to Cassin Lane and New Laredo Highway on the South Side were later opened again to traffic.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
