A woman sustained serious injuries after an overnight crash in the westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway.
The incident took place at around 2:40 a.m. in the 10000 block of the freeway near Bunker Hill Road.
Moreover, investigators reported that a white sedan lost balance and smashed into a freeway wall.
Afterwards, medics transported the driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
However, a passenger inside the vehicle did not suffer any major injuries.
Also, an investigation is ongoing.
