On Thursday morning, a juvenile suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the west Las Vegas valley.
As per the initial information, the incident was reported at about 6:57 a.m. on Hacienda Avenue and Duneville Street, just east of Jones Boulevard. On arrival, paramedics rushed the juvenile to UMC with critical, but non-life-threatening injuries.
On the other hand, the driver remained at the scene after the incident. Impairment does not seem to have played a role in the accident. The events that have led up to the collision remain unknown at this time. The road closed during the response has since opened again to traffic.
The crash remains under investigation.
