On Monday night, a man was hospitalized after an auto-pedestrian accident in Carson City.
The incident took place moments after 9 p.m. on Valley Street near E. William Street. Officers mentioned that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing Valley Street. On arrival, emergency crews airlifted the man to Renown through Care Flight.
The extent of his injuries remain unknown at this time. Officials have not confirmed that who was at fault in the collision. Valley Street is expected to be shut down for several hours. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed.
The cause of the incident remains under active investigation.
