An auto-pedestrian accident killed 1 person on Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road (Malibu, CA)

On Monday night, one person was killed following an auto-pedestrian collision on Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road.

As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 8:38 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway and Cross Creek Road in which a pedestrian and a vehicle were involved. The preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.

On arrival, emergency crews declared the victim deceased. Authorities shut down the westbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway as crews worked at the crash scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified.

The crash remains under investigation.
