An accident involving three cars injured 10 people in Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA)

10 people were hurt following a 3-car pile-up in Van Nuys on Monday night.

Emergency crews are actively responding to a terrible 3-car accident. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to area of 7400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard just after 8:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash. According to firefighters, a total of eight people, involving a pedestrian, received injuries in the crash.

LAFD initially said that 10 people were injured, but later confirmed that two people refused transport to the hospital. Officials state that six of the eight people injured in the crash were transported to the hospital. All patients are expected to be fine.

An investigation is underway.
