On Wednesday night, a man lost his life after being hit by an 18-wheeler in Houston.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at S Sam Houston Parkway and South Post Oak. The preliminary investigation indicated that a gas tanker truck was making a U-turn when a man stepped off the curb and got hit by the vehicle.
The victim suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver said that the pedestrian was talking to himself and moved towards the truck. No additional information has been provided by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
