Ameer Abdalridha dead, 3 others hospitalized after a crash in San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)

Authorities identified Ameer Abdalridha, a Brandeis High School student, as the victim who died after a crash Thursday in San Antonio that also left three others in hospitals.

As per the initial information, the fatal car accident was reported just after 1 p.m. on Hausman Road, near the intersection with J.V. Bacon Parkway. The preliminary reports showed that the teen was driving a black sedan along Hausman when a gold car was pulling out and crashed into the sedan.

The incident involved a district transportation staff member. Ameer Abdalridha was a Brandeis junior. At least three other students who were in the car were taken to local hospitals. The extent of injuries sustained by the injured victims remains unknown at this time. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
