Ambulance called to Highway 1 near Vandenberg air force base following two-vehicle accident (Lompoc, CA)

An ambulance arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 near Vandenberg Air Force Base on Wednesday morning. The incident took place at about 5:30 a.m. on the northbound lane of Highway 1.

Currently, authorities did not confirm the extent of the injuries and the number of people injured in the accident.

Furthermore, a helicopter responded to the scene and authorities routed the traffic to San Antonio Road. On the other hand, officials blocked the southbound lanes of Highway 1 for traffic.

Currently, officials did not reveal the cause that led to the incident.

Also, an investigation is ongoing.
