Authorities stated that a woman was killed in a fatal motor vehicle crash on Ventura Road South of Devonshire Drive.
The fatal crash occurred around 2:00 a.m., involving a 1998 Ford Escort Sedan, driven by a 37-year-old woman, slammed into an electrical pole, said Oxnard Police Cmdr. Luis Mc Arthur. Investigations suggest that driving at high speed could be one of the reasons behind the collision.
