On Monday night, a man suffered injuries after getting hit by a vehicle near Latona Road.
As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 6:00 p.m. near Latona Road and State Route 273. The preliminary investigation indicated that initially two vehicles crashed into each other for undetermined reasons. During the traffic congestion after the collision, another driver came out of his vehicle.
That driver was hit by a vehicle. On arrival, medics rushed the man to Mercy Medical with major injuries. Officials shut down State Route 273 for approximately an hour as crews worked at the scene. No other information was provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
