A vehicle smashed into a school in Sherman Heights (San Diego, CA)

On Saturday, a vehicle ran into Sherman Elementary School in Sherman Heights, rupturing a natural gas line.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at approximately 12:36 p.m. at 301 22nd Street. At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the collision.

Four fire engines and 30 fire personnel responded to the crash scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain unclear. No additional information has been provided by the officials.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
