On Monday morning, power lines were hit near RiverTown Crossings Mall.
The early reports showed that a vehicle got caught up in the lines in the area of 36th Street and Canal in Grandville. The reports further revealed that lines were also struck along Wilson Avenue, close to the mall as well.
It is unknown if anyone received injuries as a result of the accident. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this time. It is also unconfirmed if the crash caused power outages in the area. No further details have been released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
