On Monday morning, a woman lost her life after getting struck by a vehicle on 110 Freeway and Florence Avenue.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place on southbound 110 Freeway at the Florence Avenue off-ramp at about 12:15 a.m. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for unknown reasons.
The woman was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. The incident led to the closure of southbound lanes 4 and 5 and the Florence Avenue off-ramp. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
