On Tuesday, a person was killed after being hit by a vehicle on 101 Freeway and State Route 33.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on 101 Freeway at the SR-33 interchange. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle struck the pedestrian for reason that are yet to be known. On arrival, first responders declared the victim deceased.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision stayed at the scene. At this time, it is unknown if other vehicles were involved in the crash. The identity of the decedent will be revealed once the next of kin is notified.
