A vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian near Issaquah (Issaquah, WA)

On Friday, one person died after getting struck by a vehicle near Issaquah.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place on westbound Interstate 90; just east of Issaquah a little before 7:30 p.m. According to the officials, they received multiple calls about someone who was on the road before the collision, adding the person was not changing a tire.

The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. Authorities shut down the interstate as crews worked at the scene, but it has since reopened. No other details are made available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
