On Saturday, a man lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in Desert Hot Springs.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place on Palm Drive and Ironwood Drive. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a man for reasons that are yet to be known. On arrival, responders found a man down in the middle of the road.
The man suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Officials closed the intersection of Ironwood and Two-Bunch-Palms as crews worked at the scene. Motorists were asked to use an alternative route. No further details were provided.
