On Wednesday, 22-year-old Andrew Rios, a resident of Ontario, was killed after being fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 215.
The California Highway Patrol quickly responded to the crash scene at around 10:13 p.m. near Palm Avenue in which a vehicle and a pedestrian were involved. On arrival, emergency responders declared Andrew Rios deceased at about 10:25 p.m.
Officials have not provided any details about the vehicle involved in the crash and the cause of the fatal auto-pedestrian accident is under investigation at this time.
