A two-vehicle crash on Bandera Road hospitalized 7 people, including 2 critically-injured children (San Antonio, TX)

On Sunday afternoon, a major accident on Bandera Road left at least seven people in a local hospital.

As per the initial information, the incident took place on Bandera Rd. and Sherill Brook Dr. at about 3:50 p.m. The preliminary reports showed that a Chevrolet truck was heading southbound on Bandera Rd. in the middle lane when it crashed into a white Ford Expedition pulling out of a private property.

Reports further said that that there were eight people inside the Ford Expedition; seven of those people were taken to a local hospital. Two children reportedly sustained life threatening injuries. Police mentioned that two people, a child and an adult, were thrown from the Expedition. A witness pulled out another child from the back of the Expedition. The driver of the truck remained unharmed in the accident.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
