A two-vehicle crash leaves four people, including a 16-year-old boy in critical condition (Phoenix, AZ)

On Tuesday evening, 4 people, including a 16-year-old boy were rushed to the hospital in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Phoenix, authorities said.

Two vehicles crashed into each other on 27th Avenue and Baseline Road at about 5:30 p.m., injuring a 16-year-old boy, a 20-year-old woman, a 40-year-old man and a 55-year-old man. On arrival, authorities discovered a vehicle on its side after flipping over several times with two people pinned inside that needed extrication.

The circumstances that have led up to the crash remain unknown at this time. The identities of all the injured victims remains undisclosed. No other details are immediately available regarding the two-vehicle accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
