On Thursday, a woman lost her life following a two-vehicle accident on a Highway 290 in northwest Harris County.
The fatal incident took place at about 12:15 a.m. on U.S. 290 at N Eldridge Parkway. According to the officials, the woman was driving a black Lexus behind an 18-wheeler when she rear-ended its trailer.
On arrival, emergency crews airlifted the woman to the hospital through Life Flight, but she was later declared dead by the crews. The authorities will reveal the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.
The Harris County Sheriff’s will continue to investigate the crash.
