On Friday, a man lost his life after crashing their vehicle into the back of a truck on the Northeast Side.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle accident took place at about 3 a.m. on the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 North, near Walzem Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that the man’s vehicle smashed into the truck from behind. The truck was carrying glass at that time.
The driver of the car suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. On the other hand, the driver of the truck did not receive any injuries as a result of the collision. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
