A two-vehicle crash killed 1 person in Federal Way (Federal Way, WA)

On Tuesday evening, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Federal Way.

Officials actively responded to the crash scene after 5:15 p.m. after getting the news of an accident involving two vehicles in the 37300 block of Pacific Highway South. According to the authorities, the driver of a pickup truck that was towing a utility trailer stopped to make a left turn when another pickup truck rear-ended the trailer.

Police confirmed that the driver of the second pickup truck succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. Officials do not believe that impairment played a factor in the accident.

An investigation is underway.
