One person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Lumpkin Road near Forbestown Road on Wednesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 3:00 p.m. along Lumpkin Road, east of Forbestown Road. Reports showed that the crash involved a logging truck and a dump truck. On arrival, medics airlifted one victim to a hospital through helicopter with unidentified injuries. Authorities shut down Lumpkin Road for several hours. As of now, officials did not reveal the cause that led to the accident.
An investigation is underway.
