One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 54, west of Dalhart early this morning.
According to the officials, the incident took place on Highway 54 in which a semi-truck and a pickup were involved. On arrival, emergency crews rescued the driver of the pickup and then airlifted them to the hospital.
The driver from the semi-truck refused to be hospitalized, officers mentioned. As of now, authorities have not provided any further details regarding the accident. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed at this time.
The authorities will continue to investigate the cause that led to the two-vehicle crash.
