On late Monday, three people were hurt after a two-vehicle crash requiring extrication in Houston.
According to Houston Fire Department, the incident took place at about 11 p.m. at Old Spanish Trail and Spur 5 southeast of Houston. Officials said that two women were traveling westbound on Old Spanish Trail and tried to turn south onto Spur 5, but had a red light.
When they turned against the red light, a truck going eastbound crashed into their car. On arrival, emergency crews transported the driver of the truck, as well as the women in the car, to the hospital in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
