A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 21-year-old woman on Wahalla Lane near Loop 101 (Phoenix, AZ)

On Tuesday night, a 21-year-old woman lost her life following a two-vehicle crash on Wahalla Lane near Loop 101.

The fatal accident took place at around 5:15 p.m. on Wahalla Lane near Loop 101 Pima Freeway. According to the initial information, a red Ford F-150 pickup truck carrying a passenger was heading south on 19th Avenue when the pickup collided with a car having four occupants as it made a left turn from Wahalla Lane.

On arrival, paramedics transported the four adult occupants to the hospital. However, a 21-year-old woman later died of her injuries at the hospital. The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed. The two occupants of the pickup truck remained unharmed in the crash.

An eyewitness said that the silver car ran the stop sign. As of now, the investigators haven’t confirmed if the said information is accurate or not. The witness also added that three women and one man were occupying the car when the incident happened. The police confirmed that a third driver might also be involved in the wreck.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
