A two-vehicle collision killed one person on 105 Freeway in Norwalk area (Norwalk, CA)

On Wednesday, a traffic collision took the life of one person on the Century (105) Freeway in the Norwalk area.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident was reported at 1:48 p.m. on the eastbound 105 at the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in which two vehicles were involved. On arrival, responding officers declared one person deceased. The identity of the decedent will be revealed once the next of kin is notified.

The four right lanes of the eastbound 105 Freeway, as well as the freeway’s eastbound Bellflower Boulevard on-ramp, were shut down for an unknown amount of time as crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under review.
