On Friday, a motorcyclist died and two others received injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Frisco.
The fatal incident took place shortly after 9:30 a.m. in the intersection of Stonebrook Parkway and Legacy Drive. As per the preliminary reports, it seems that the motorcycle was heading westbound on Stonebrook Parkway when the rider ran a red light, colliding with another vehicle.
On arrival medics rushed the bike rider to an area hospital where he was declared dead. The identity of the deceased will be released after notifying the next of kin. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were treated for minimal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
