A two-vehicle collision killed 1 person and injured 2 others in northeast Houston (Houston, TX)

On Saturday night, one person died and two others suffered injuries after a two-vehicle accident in northeast Houston.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place in the 3500 block of Bennington Street in northeast Houston. The preliminary investigation showed that a car and a METRO bus were involved in the collision. There were two occupants in the car at the time of the crash.

The passenger in the car was declared deceased after the accident. On arrival, medics took the driver of the car and the METRO bus operator to the hospital with unknown injuries. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
