On late Monday night, a pregnant woman suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident on the city’s North Side.
As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Loop 410 and San Pedro Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that the woman’s vehicle crashed into a truck near the intersection for reasons that are yet to be known.
On arrival, medics transported the woman to University Hospital through EMS for treatment of her injuries. Reports revealed that the woman was found not to be intoxicated. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
