On Monday morning, three people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle accident in North Las Vegas.
Officers actively responded to the area of Losee Road and Miller Avenue, near Lake Mead Boulevard at 7:01 a.m. after getting reports of a crash. The North Las Vegas Fire Department also responded to the scene. The preliminary investigation showed that a Toyota pickup truck heading northbound on Losee Road was making a westbound turn onto Miller Avenue.
At the same time, a Chevy Malibu was going southbound on Losee Road when both vehicles crashed into each other. Officials believe that speed contributed to the accident whereas impairment was not suspected to be involved. On arrival, medics took three people to an area hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. All the victims are considered to be in stable condition. Authorities asked the drivers to avoid the area as the incident affected some travel lanes.
