A two-vehicle collision damages gas lines in West Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

A two-vehicle collision damaged gas lines in west Phoenix just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road lines.

Police are investigating if impairment played a factor in the early morning crash. On arrival, medics shifted both drivers; a woman in one car and a man in the other vehicle to the hospital with not life-threatening injuries. Authorities called the Southwest Gas to deal with the damaged lines and closed the intersection for the maintenances of gas lines.

An investigation is underway.
