On Monday morning, injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 405 near Magnolia Street.
The incident took place on Interstate 405 southbound, near Magnolia Street in Fountain Valley in which two vehicles were involved. Officials announced a Sig Alert that shut down the freeway’s carpool and number one lane as crews worked at the crash scene.
Emergency responders called an ambulance in the area to transport the patients. Officials have not confirmed the number of people involved and the extent of their injuries at this time. The cause that led to the accident also remains unknown.
An investigation is ongoing.
