On early Tuesday morning, one person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident in North Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, the car vs. truck collision took place at 6:40 a.m. The early reports indicated that a white work-vehicle going at a high rate of speed crashed into the passenger side of a gray Honda Accord. The car was wrecked as a result of the collision. On arrival, medics transported one person to UMC hospital with non-critical injuries.
There were two people in the truck while the Honda driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. According to the officials, the driver of the truck will be cited with a “due care” citation. The intersection of Simmons Street and Carey Avenue was partially shut down as crews worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
