A truck smashed into a building in University District after the driver suffered from a medical emergency (Spokane, WA)

A dump truck driver crashed their vehicle into a building in University District after having a medical emergency.

As per the initial information, the incident took place on N. Hogan and E. Springfield. The preliminary investigation showed that a dump truck driver suffered from a medical emergency while driving as a result of which the vehicle drifted over the center of the road, and crashed into another vehicle before running into the side of a building.

Reports further indicated that a large chunk was missing from the front-corner of the older building after the collision. The truck seemed to be damage badly. The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
