A car driver smashed into a box truck causing the truck to flip over onto the vehicle on Monday on I-15, NHP reported.
Afterwards, rescuers got hold of the affected scene on southbound I-15 near Sahara Avenue at about 2 p.m.
As per officials, a Honda passenger car struck the back of the box truck while changing lanes. Resultantly, the truck overturned. The accident trapped the driver of the Honda in his seat and the steering wheel pressed against his chest.
Then, the Las Vegas Fire Department removed the victim from the vehicle.
Later, medics moved the man to University Medical Center and staff treated him for minor wounds. However, the box truck’s driver did not suffer any injuries.
Authorities blocked I-15 for traffic for some time. Currently, the crash scene is open again for traffic.
Also, an investigation is underway.
