On Friday afternoon, a semi-truck flipped over on I-610, causing a hazardous materials spill and leading to the closure of several lanes.
The tragic incident took place on Interstate 610 North Loop eastbound at Wayside, where the truck was seen on its side. As of now, the current condition of the driver of the truck is unknown.
Authorities reported that several main lanes were shut down after the accident. Officials asked the drivers to expect delays in the area and find an alternative route. The cause of the crash remains undisclosed at this time.
