A car crash at US-131 and Market Street caused power outage for several people in Grand Rapids.
As per the initial information, the motor vehicle accident took place at about 9:30 p.m. at the ramp from U-S 131 to Wealthy Street. The early reports revealed that the incident knocked out power to more than 1,000 of its customers.
According to the authorities, power is expected to be restored about midnight. It is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unclear at this time. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
