On Monday afternoon, one person was sent to the hospital following a traffic collision on the 14 Freeway.
As per the initial information, emergency personnel got information of a crash at 1:16 p.m. Monday on the northbound 14 Freeway, close to Sand Canyon Road or Shadow Pines Boulevard. On arrival, responders took one person to the hospital in an unknown condition.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver may have lost control of the vehicle before colliding with the right guardrail. The victim may have incurred a broken bone. The identity of the injured victim remains undisclosed at this time. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
