On Wednesday, minor injuries were reported following a traffic accident in Renton.
The early reports showed that the motor vehicle crash involved a cement truck. Traffic signal poles were broken and cement from an involved truck spilled onto the roadway after the accident. The incident led to only minor injuries.
Westbound Maple Valley Highway was shut down at 140th in Renton for several hours as crews worked to clear the crash site. It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the collision. No other details have been released by the officials.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
