On Tuesday morning, a traffic accident took the life of one person in Everett.
As per the initial information, officers responded to the area of Rucker Ave from 41st St. to 43rd St. at about 8:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time.
As of now, it is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision. Northbound lanes were shut down while crews worked at the scene. Authorities asked motorists to use Colby Ave. as a detour. The closure was expected to remain in effect for hours.
The crash remains under review.
