On early Sunday, a woman was killed when she got out of a car after a crash and was hit by another vehicle on I-45.
As per reports, shortly before 4 a.m. a Mustang and another car crashed into each other as a result of which the Mustang was disabled in the main northbound lanes of the North Freeway near Aldine Bender.
One of the female passengers got out of the Mustang, which was stopped right over the crest of a hill. The woman was then hit by another car travelling up the hill and she died on the scene. All three cars stopped in the middle of the road.
Police believe that the drivers of all three cars were intoxicated. Officials released a statement that “We have people that are likely going to be charged with DWIs today,” We just have to look at who is responsible for the young woman’s death.”
An investigation is underway.
