On Tuesday morning, a woman was injured following a three-vehicle accident on State Route 18 near Buena Vista Road.
As per the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle accident took place on State Route 18, near Buena Vista Road at about 10:17 a.m. Reports showed that the wreck involved three vehicles. On arrival, first responders found a woman at the scene. She was hunched and was having trouble in breathing.
Paramedics airlifted the woman to an out-of-area trauma center through a helicopter, San Bernardino County Fire said. Officers closed down the east and westbound lanes of the highway to give way to the investigation.
The crash remains under review.
