On early Wednesday morning, four people received injuries following a three-vehicle pile-up on Laguna Boulevard near Santorini Drive.

The incident took place at about 2:00 a.m. on eastbound Laguna Boulevard near Santorini Drive wherein three vehicles were involved. Officers said that a vehicle hit some trees and a light pole. According to bystander, the Impact of the crash ejected a driver from one of the vehicles.

On arrival, emergency crews took four people to a hospital with unidentified injuries. Officials believe that speed might have played a factor in the crash. Authorities shut down eastbound Laguna Blvd to clear the debris from the scene, but all lanes have reopened now.

An investigation is underway.
