A 58-year-old man, of Everett, lost his life and six other were injured after a two-car collision on late Tuesday east of Lynnwood.
As per the initial information, a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling on 204th Street NW, driven by a 58-year-old man, at about 10 p.m. Tuesday when his car T-boned a Mercedes-Benz at the intersection with 28th Avenue W.
The Camaro driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Two other adults in the Camaro were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries. There were two adults and two children in the Mercedes-Benz who were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with minimal injuries.
The road was blocked for hours as detectives looked into the crash. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin, as well as find out the cause and manner of death. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
