On Sunday morning, one person was killed and three others sustained injuries following a single-vehicle rollover accident on Alisal Road.
The incident took place at around 3:00 a.m. on Alisal Road. According to CHP, as a 2001 Toyota Camry attempted to turn, it rolled over and landed on its roof. Reports showed that four people were occupying the vehicle and none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of crash.
One passenger died of their injuries at the scene. On arrival, first responders rushed the driver and the other two passengers to Natividad Medical Center and the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. The CHP believed that drugs and/or alcohol contributed to the crash. The authorities also took the driver in custody.
An investigation is ongoing at this time.
